Q: How to reset the Institute LDAP password?
Visit the following link
https://idp.iitpkd.ac.in/password/
Enter your username and click on the Send Reset Link button. You will receive a password reset link on your institute email id. Use that link to reset your password and then login

Q: How to Connect to the IIT Palakkad Wi-Fi?
Enable Wi-Fi on your device.
From the available networks, select IITPKD or IIT-Palakkad and click Connect.
The login (sign-in) page will automatically open.
Enter your LDAP username and password, then click Login/Connect.
On some devices, due to Wi-Fi driver settings, the automatic sign-in page may not open. In such cases, open any web browser and visit: https://iitpkd.ac.in.You will be automatically redirected to the Wi-Fi login page.

Q: How to Access the IIT Palakkad VPN?
Send a request for VPN access to cet@iitpkd.ac.in.
Once approved, Use your LDAP username and password as the login credentials for VPN access.

Q: How can i access an institute Linux machine from outside the IIT Palakkad network?
To access institute Linux machines from outside the IIT Palakkad network, you must first obtain approval from your faculty supervisor. After receiving approval, please forward the request to chcet[@]iitpkd.ac.in for further processing. Once the request is approved, you need to share your SSH public key with CET, which will be added to the login server by CET Staff.
Q: How do I get HPC access?
If you are a faculty member, please write to hpc-admin[@]iitpkd.ac.in requesting access with the below details.
If you are a student, please obtain approval from your faculty advisor and write to hpc-admin[@]iitpkd.ac.in with your faculty advisor in CC.
