HPC


The High Performance Computing (HPC) facility at IIT Palakkad supports advanced computational research, simulation, and data-intensive applications. The institute currently hosts four HPC clusters: Madhava, Chandra, Bhavani, and Param Vidya. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped to support work in areas such as materials design, drug discovery, protein folding, climate modeling, big data analytics, and the advancement of fundamental science and engineering. It is accessible to researchers and students from departments including Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, enabling cutting-edge interdisciplinary research.

The HPC is used by faculty, research staff and students at IIT Palakkad to investigate  complex research problems in science and engineering.



How to Get Access

 
If you are a faculty member, please write to hpc-admin[@]iitpkd.ac.in requesting access with the below details.

If you are a student, please obtain approval from your faculty advisor and write to hpc-admin[@]iitpkd.ac.in with your faculty advisor in CC.

Note: Domain and Subdomain refer to your research field and specialisation. Application refers to the specific tools, packages, or software you need on the HPC facility.
